How to make the perfect matcha

01

Sift

Sift 1 teaspoon (about 2g) of matcha into a bowl to break up any clumps.

02

Whisk

Add 60ml of hot water (around 80°C, not boiling) and whisk in a quick zig-zag motion until frothy.

03

Enjoy

Sip straight, or pour over about 200ml of warm or iced milk, and enjoy!

was really good with oat milk (and full cream but i prefer oat), crazy how much better this is to the mass produced stuff, pricey but for good reason.

This is one of the best matchas I've had. I usually get my matcha from cafes which is often bitter and grainy, so it surprised me when this one wasn't bitter at all.. Will be a repeat customer, thank you!

What makes Ceremonial matcha so special?

First harvest

Picked once a year in spring, when the leaves are at their sweetest.

Shade grown

Shaded before picking for a smoother taste and a vivid green colour.

Stone milled

Ground to an ultra-fine powder that whisks up smooth and clump-free.
